Sydney Youth Orchestras in concert : BRIGHT FUTURE October 6, 2012

Sydney Youth Orchestras would like to invite you to join us for our final program for 2012, showcasing the talent and development of our musicians over the year.

Sydney Youth Orchestras is proud to announce that our Principal Flute, Kate Proctor, is the winner of the 2012 SYO Concerto Competition. Kate will perform her solo work, the Feld Flute Concerto, with the SYO.

Rachmaninov’s stunning Symphonic Dances is the composer’s final work, and this orchestral suite represents the culmination of his compositional style. At the end of the year’s journey, every young musician in the Sydney Youth Orchestra will shine.
