Sydney Youth Orchestras - Dark, Splendour and Dawn September 11, 2010

Sydney Youth Orchestras is one of Sydney's most exciting arts organisations presenting the new generation of outstanding musicians in concerts full of innovation, passion and vitality. On Saturday 11 September SYO will present their gala concert Dark, Splendour and Dawn which will take you on a journey through dance, love, darkness and rebirth. The concert will feature such well-known pieces as Weber's Invitation to the Dance, Stravinsky's blazing youthful masterpiece The Firebird, Berlioz's Les Nuits d'ete which will feature one of Australia's most versatile performers mezzo-soprano Sally-Anne Russell and Khachaturian's Masquerade Suite.
