Sweetwater Mojo June 21, 2008

Sweetwater Mojo is playing one final show this Saturday afternoon. We had planned to hang up our spurs in a flourish of arena rock grand-standing, but actually we're being put out to pasture in a quaint setting of creek-side intimacy. It seems almost poetic that our final show should be on the first day of summer—a day to celebrate the dawning of idleness and the absence of responsibility. Boy, are we ever going to miss gazing out upon your beaming faces, exaltedly clapped hands, and rapturously shook booties; but alas we literally have years of must-see TV to catch up on.

We plan to amble out into that sunset as slowly and majestically as possible on the longest, most glorious day of the year. Why don't you join us for this maudlin celebration? Happy summer everybody!
