Samsung Ventures is the Venture Capital Fund for the Samsung Group. Stephen Lee, Principal, Samsung Ventures
Mr. Lee is a Principal at Samsung Ventures and focuses on Digital Media investments. He joined Samsung Ventures in 2009 and is currently on the board of directors for Amber Precision Instruments and is a board observer for Widevine and Ethertronics. Previously, Mr. Lee led venture investments at Mitsui & Co., where he played an active role in Mitsui’s investments in Beceem Communications, Synacor, Luidia and SmartSignal. Prior to his venture capital career, Mr. Lee was a management consultant where he helped leading technology companies identify new growth opportunities both in the United States and abroad.

Mr. Lee holds a B.A. in Political Economies from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
