Andrew Chung
Andrew joined Lightspeed in 2006 and focuses on investments in cleantech, internet, digital media, and infrastructure. He has over seven years of investing, consulting, and operating experience. He helped initiate Lightspeed's investment program in cleantech and is currently observing the boards of Coaltek, LS9, Stion, and Exclara.
Andrew has been an invited cleantech and internet panelist at a number of industry events, including TiEcon, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory Industry Growth Forum, and the Wharton Technology Conference. He is a selection committee member for the Cleantech Venture Forum, serves as the first-ever Cleantech Content Chair for TiECon, and is a member of the organizing committee for the California Cleantech Open.

Prior to Lightspeed, Andrew worked at Bain Capital and TL Ventures, where he supported leveraged buyout and venture investments in software, semiconductors, and healthcare. He also co-founded UberWorks, an e-commerce content aggregation startup incubated at Trilogy, and led the company through an acquisition by a public company. He also directed product management at OnStation, a CRM software company, and worked as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company in Greater China, servicing clients in the energy generation, industrial automation, consumer electronics, and private equity sectors.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania . Andrew is an avid musician, having performed as a vocalist at distinguished venues like the Lincoln Center , the Kennedy Center , the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and an off-Broadway musical theatre.
