Positioning your Company with a Web 2.0 Marketing Strategy

Ever wonder how some companies build strong user groups, create a deep connection to application experts, recommenders and consultants as well as tap the user base for new requirements and insights on product directions and features? About the speaker:

Robin Stavisky
Founder and Managing Partner of New Venture Marketing, a high-technology marketing and communications company, a Silicon Valley firm she has headed for some 20+ years and has provided strategic counsel to over 70 high-growth technology companies. In that time Robin has established herself as a savvy Silicon Valley insider and marketer combining both on-line and more traditional marketing to drive business, position a clients for market leadership and success.

Robin is an instructor and frequent speaker on how to develop a Web 2.0 strategy and how to evaluate and apply the most powerful new social media tools. Her popular course, "Effective Marketing in a Web 2.0 World" at Stanford Continuing Studies explores some of the most exciting social media tools (including: blogs, wikis, online communities, social networks, tagging widgets, mash ups and user generated content). including how companies can use these new social media tools in marketing and communications.
