Sustainability for Families: There Is No Away September 19, 2009

During this fun-filled, kid-friendly afternoon, we will explore ways the whole family can work together to reduce our carbon footprints. We will spend the afternoon looking into what it means to be "disposable." We will also learn how to upcycle and repurpose plastic shopping bags into practical and fashionable reusable tote bags. This program will provide valuable tools to help you and your family live greener lives. We will provide the bags, and participants will get to take their creations home.
