Susanna Burgett Memorial Regatta September 11, 2010

Please join us on Saturday, September 11th for a fundraising regatta. To honor long time Community Boating member and friend Susanna Burgett's memory help us raise money for cancer research and treatment at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. All proceeds will benefit Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Susanna Burgett passed away in 2008 after a long and difficult battle with Metastatic Cancer. Among her many hobbies and talents, Burgett loved to sail. Through her involvement with CBI, she formed many close relationships with members and staff Throughout her illness, she never ceased to give back to those that had given her support and love - we would like to continue her mission by gather on the docks of CBI to enjoy an entire evening of sailing, food, and dancing while raising money to help find a cure for cancer.

The event will kick off with a semi-formal sailing regatta, followed by a delicious barbeque cookout. Once the sun has begun to set, Festive Events DJ will serenade the participants with music while we dance on the docks under the night sky.

$45 ticket prices include participation in the sailing regatta, barbeque on the docks, and access to the after-dark dance.
