Surf City Comedy Class July 10th - First Class Free!

Learn how to bring out what's already funny in your life and take it to a stage! Learn techniques that can help you with a career in stand-up comedy or just improve your public speaking ability in front of large groups of people. This class give you a head start in the "art" of stand-up comedy. Jeff Capri will share his ever-growing knowledge (17 years and counting,) and his many trials and errors in the quest of professional funniness! Jeff will pass along his take on the do's and don'ts of stand-up comedy along with many tricks and insights on performing that only a working comic can share.

What you will learn:
Writing, performing, dealing with nervousness, hecklers, stage presence, set preparation, etc. Most of all, how to achieve constancy while maintaining the "funny" and confidence on stage.

Classes take place inside Huntington Beach's newest comedy club, Surf City Comedy Club! Students will receive a showcase at the end of the session to show off their skills.

Jeff Capri is an OC native and has been performing professionally for over 17 years. His active career keeps him working in Las Vegas, cruise ships and corporate events as well as many television appearances, including Comics Unleashed, Last Comic Standing, Who Wants to Date a Comedian?, Ed McMahon's Next Big Star and more. Jeff has appeared alongside many respected entertainers, including Ellen DeGeneres, Joy Behar, Rich Jeni and Adam Sandler. In addition, Jeff is a graduate of LA's Second City conservatory program.
