Super Duper at the Halloween Special Effects Industry Extravaganza October 30, 2009

For those of you who have yet to make eve-of-Halloween party plans, consider them made.
For those of you who already have plans, cancel them.

Because Dakota Lounge, your swanky yet friendly neighborhood watering hole in Santa Monica, is being converted into a scare-tastic haunted house of doom-tainment by none other than Drac Studios, the people who gave you the Oscar-winning make-up effects in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

And just when you didn't think things could get any better than that, SUPER DUPER is playing a double set, including a no-holds barred super-secret special cover, and featuring our full entourage of puppets and dancers. It promises to be one raucous pre-Hallow's eve.

We'll start at 8:30, play a 45-minute set, followed by DJ Roam, then another 45-minute set, concluding around 10:30 - but fully expect to revel until closing time, and perhaps, beyond the grave.
