Embarcadero & Townsend
San Francisco, California

There isn't a better way to explore the bay than by kayaking at sunset on a summer evening. The beauty of the natural habitat and the spectacular view of the San Francisco skyline will get your adrenaline going and will make for a pleasing experience for the mind, body and spirit. Expect to see sea lions, seals, pelicans, seagulls and other migrating birds and marine animals. There will be a Giants game on this night so you might even catch a baseball!
Our course will provide us with great views of these San Francisco sights:
* Bay Bridge
* Ferry Building
* Downtown SF
* Coit Tower
* Pier 39 sea lion habitat
* Maritime Museum (submarine, historic ships)
* Ghirardelli Square (Aquatic Park, turn around point)
* Golden Gate Bridge
* Alcatraz
* Treasure Island

All are welcome, from novice to expert. You can even bring your family and friends. Kayaks, gear and a safety orientation will be provided.

One Brick is able to offer this great opportunity to our volunteers at the low price of $39 per head because City Kayak is allowing us to use it as a fundraising event. Take advantage of this SUPER group rate and sign up early to secure a kayak (spaces are limited)!

True to the One Brick style, we will end the day by heading to a local restaurant for some grub and a drink - for those who are so inclined.

About One Brick: One Brick is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization that brings volunteers together to support other local non-profit organizations. One Brick has adopted an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering. After each volunteer event - which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours - we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or café where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting.

Through our volunteer projects, we provide non-profits with the much-needed labor to carry out their visions. At the same time we foster an environment in which our volunteers can meet new people, both socially and professionally.

Please bring:
* A change of clothes
* A towel
* A bottle of water

Note: There will be showers available for our use afterwards.
