This course is run by both Cindy Osorio & Danny Ramirez "Meaning 2 Experienced and Professional Instructors for the Price of 1". Pleasant and fun-filled atmosphere.

When: SUNDAYS, AUGUST 20, 27

Time: 4:00PM - 6:00PM

Description: This class is designed for those who have never danced before
or done very little dancing. In this class you will learn essential steps to
help you survive out there to feel confident enough to dance socially at
parties and clubs. BACHATA: This is a sensuous and intense dance. Be
prepared to dance close! You will learn the following: the basic bachata
step pattern, giving and receiving turns, proper body positioning and hands,
footwork styling options, several turn combinations, hip isolations, music
theory. This class is very fun and simple. SUNDAY, JUNE 25: BACHATA, in
general, has reached a lot more popularity in recent years. More nightclubs
are playing it, and therefore, more people are learning it. Since the basic
step pattern is not as intricate as some styles, you?re allowed to progress
at a much faster pace. SUNDAY, JULY 9: MERENGUE, This is the easiest and
fastest way to look like you've been dancing for years. You'll feel like you
brought your tropical vacation home with you. You will learn the following:
timing and rhythm, basic footwork including individual turns and body and
hand positioning, turn combinations are taught which incorporate basic
passing skills, partner turns, as well as traveling steps Both Merengue and
Bachata have very simple footwork and a whole lotta hips. You will discover
how easy it is to lead or follow your partner, and to move in perfect
partnership, as you show off on the dance floor. Each week new turns are
taught and previous weeks' turns are reviewed.
