Summer of Art is a weekly series at UN Plaza which brings together dance, music, theatre and spoken word from Tenderloin, SOMA, and Central Market to enliven this beautiful, historic plaza with fun and exciting activities for neighborhood residents, employees and visitors alike. The series is coordinated with the Off the Grid food truck services that come to UN Plaza each Tuesday from 11-2pm. Enjoy an outdoor lunch while watching a free concert of music, dance, theater and spoken word. This season also features occasional participatory events, such as a free Bollywood dance class, for those who want to take the stage or be part of the art-making as well! The 2013 season runs from April 30th-August 13th.
