For nearly a decade Emch has been the producer, selector, musician and label head behind Subatomic Sound System, a NYC/Brooklyn based collective dedicated to preserving and extending the many roots and branches of Jamaican dubwise studio techniques and the sound system tradition that once birthed hip hop on their home turf.

Besides touring and producing tracks for seven releases on six different labels in the past year, Emch also finds time to host the Subatomic Sound radio show, blasting independent underground sounds from around the world, every Wednesday night in NYC on 91.5fm in conjuction with KEXP.org, MoGlo and Nomadic Wax.
