STUFFED returns, on July 10th, and doubles up as a Birthday bash for Ravenous head honchos Roland and Dan (i.e. there will probably be cake of some sort!!). The soundtrack to this baked debauchery will be as follows:

Language (www.myspace.com/languageuk)
Having made a healthy living writing the music for Porno flicks, Hugo Santa Cruz decided he needed to rock out and, thusly, Language was born. Straddling the divide between Franz Ferdinand, INXS and The Cure, Language have the style and swagger to easily match their song writing capabilities. They still do music for porn but this time they're the stars....

Mad Staring Eyes (www.myspace.com/madstaringeyes) With a debut album out in June '08, a slot at NXNE in the bag and accolades aplenty, Mad Staring Eyes are set to explode this year. Radio 1 said 'They make me feel unsafe' (always a good thing) and Subba-Cultcha called their music 'Mightily impressive New-wave melodicism of the highest order'. You have been warned!

Kidnapper Bell (www.myspace.com/kidnapperbell) Midlands noisemakers Kidnapper Bell are and Anglo-American affair with a strong DIY ethic. From their beautifully crafted hand-made CD covers to their finely assembled and intense tunes, Kidnapper Bell are doing it all themselves. With influences from early REM and Pavement through to Jeniferever and Motion City Soundtrack, theirs is a sound hard to describe but even harder to ignore.

Canvey Island (www.myspace.com/canveyisland) If one man makes an almighty racket in a small town can anyone hear him? Of course!! Chris Farrance IS Canvey Island and under this guise he makes music that belies his solo status. Influences including Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse and the Pixies give an indication to the style but until you've seen this guy live you just....well, you just won't understand!

Plus INDIEa DJs (www.myspace.com/indiea) The soon to be legendary INDIEa DJs come to town again to play you old favourites, new stuff and some things that they think you might like!

£5 in or £4 for reduced guestlist (message us for inclusion)
