Studio Flamenco hosts Flamenco dance workshops with guest artist from Spain January 9, 2010

Studio Flamenco will host flamenco dance workshops with guest artist from Spain, the great Maria Bermúdez, on Saturday January 9th. These flamenco dance workshops are at the Intermediate/Advanced level. The classes include: 1-2:30pm - Soleares de Jerez - technique and choreography; 2:30-4pm - Bulerías de Jerez. The workshops will be held at Pointe by Pointe Dance Studio, 1315 Fair Oaks Avenue, Suite 104, South Pasadena, CA 91030.

Maria Bermúdez is an outstanding artist in the field of flamenco. She has lived in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain for many years, and she married into a Spanish Gypsy family. She is a well-known performer and teacher in Spain and the U.S. Her classes are full of artistry, fire and power.

Workshop FEES:
$40 per class; $75 for both classes (fees include guitar accompaniment).
