Seattle, WA – Live Nation welcomes Sound Tribe Sector 9 The Showbox for an all-ages show on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 9 p.m.

STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9) will embark on a national tour this fall, playing the biggest venues to the biggest crowds in the band’s history. STS9 open the tour in Colorado on September 8th at Boulder’s Fox Theatre. The show sold-out in a record six minutes, the fastest selling concert in the Fox Theatre’s fifteen-year history. Fear not, fans in the mile-high city will still have a chance to catch the band when they headline the magnificent 9,600 capacity Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO with Jurassic 5 on September 9th. STS9’s first two-month tour of 2006 gained them the rank of Pollstar Magazine’s #27 touring act in the country averaging 1,000’s of tickets per city across the nation.

STS9’s 2006 Fall Tour celebrates the release of the long-awaited DVD “Live As Time Changes,” available in stores nationwide October 3rd. During the tour, fans will also have the chance to purchase this first-ever STS9 live DVD at every show. Produced and Directed by Engine 7 Films and Anonymous Content, the live concert footage was filmed over three sold-out nights at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA during the band’s now legendary 2005/2006 New Year’s weekend. For the first time ever, the incredible sounds, epic sights and cause for celebration that is an STS9 concert have been captured in nearly two and a half hours of beautiful 5.1 surround sound film. The DVD boasts STS9 fan favorite classics as well as brand-new, never before released compositions. Much like the band’s music and widely acclaimed live performances, “Live As Time Changes” offers something to music fans of all tastes.

During the past few months, STS9 took a short break from their typically non-stop touring schedule to begin working on their fifth studio album, following up the widely heralded 2005 releases “ARTiFACT” (Best of iTunes 2005) and “ARTiFACT: PERSPECTIVES.” They have also been working non-stop on a number of musical projects for both film and television scheduled for release throughout 2007.
