Strangelove - Sacrilege August 3, 2007

Join us Friday, August 3rd when Strangelove takes a stab at Catholicism with special guest Decay (Death Guild). Snack on the body of Christ and enjoy the blood of Christ as a Cabernet. Confess your sins. Enjoy blasphemous music like "Personal Jesus", "Sin", "Christian Says", and "Godlike". Reduced admission for priests, nuns, Catholic schoolgirls, Christs, alter boys, etc.

Strangelove is now FIRST FRIDAYS at JULIE'S SUPPERCLUB in San Francisco (Folsom at 7th). The vibe is dark electro, industrial, new wave, and goth, with an emphasis on continuous beats - featuring DJ and founder Tomas Diablo. Guest DJs have included Mitch, Joe Radio, Fernando, Melting Girl, Lexor, Decay, Skip, Dangerous Dan, Fact50, Donimo, Starr, Blau, Shatter, VeraBlue, Femme Mystique, pHreaki bOi, DJ John, LowLife, and Julian DeStrukt.

We strive to have fun and interesting themes every month, like "Sacrilege", "Battle of the Sexes", and our annual Depeche Mode tribute. Check the flyers in the "movies" section for more info on previous events.

The spacious dancefloor is in a separate room from the gorgeous bar and lounge, so you always have the option to dance or to enjoy drinks and conversation in the lounge. Julie's has parking available in the Jiffy Lube lot next door (just ask our doorperson for a parking pass or you could get towed). We'll continue to highlight appropriate drink specials, like the "Blue Monday" and the "Estro-Gin and Tonic". And we occasionally have activities, concert ticket and CD giveaways.
