ReDecor Revolution is teaming with Habitat for Humanity Store to support needed housing, spring cleaning, and green thinking.

Stop. Drop. Swap. is ReDecor Revolution's annual home accessories swap to support accessible green decor choices for the Seattle community. This year, all profits from the event will support Habitat for Humanity's efforts to provide affordable housing to those in need.

"It's a perfect match", say's local interior designer Sara Eizen, co-founder of ReDecor and owner of Nest. "We are thrilled to join forces with Habitat for Humanity Store, The Sharehouse, Seattle Design Center Events and Molly's Grown to Eat to produce a full-on eco-friendly event where folks can clear out the old and bring in the "new," freshen their home for less and support an amazing charity providing much needed homes."

The Seattle Habitat for Humanity Store has saved over 1351 tons of material from going into the landfill to date. "Although Stop.Drop.Swap. may not provide such a bulk-saving effort, we are certain that our event encourages attendees to think alternatively about shopping, leave a lighter footprint and have fun doing it!" says Piper Lauri Salogga, ReDecor Revolution co-founder and owner of Piper Lauri Salogga Interiors.

A total clean-out and style-up event!

Stop.Drop.Swap. provides a golden opportunity for folks to clean out their garages, closets, attics and storage areas bringing home accessory items like pillows, throws, art, rugs, lamps and more to swap out for someone else's cool used items. AND, this year, The Habitat Humanity Store will accept larger furniture items, hard-wired lighting and leftover building materials while Total Reclaim takes your out of date TV's, stereos and computers.

To ensure great swapping variety and quality, drop off is scheduled the night before the event: Friday, June 3rd, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm this includes larger furniture items and alternative materials as well.
