Stony Brook Athletics to Host Youth Sports Clinic-Saturday 2/6 February 6, 2010

Stony Brook Athletics Department will be hosting its annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday, February 6th. To help promote an active and healthy lifestyle, Stony Brook will be holding a Youth Sports Clinic, with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. and culminating with a women's basketball game against Binghamton at 2:00 p.m.
Girls and boys between the ages of 6 -11 are invited to participate. The event will be held in the Indoor Sports Complex and will feature current Stony Brook student-athletes from many different sports. Clean sneakers and play clothes are required and there is a $5 admission fee (includes the clinic, t-shirt, a ticket to the women's basketball game and a goodie bag). Pre-registration is mandatory.
