Credited with "piano playing at its most awesome" (The New York Times), pianist Steven Mayer has brought his unique repertoire of such jazz icons Art Tatum and Fats Waller, as well as music from Mozart to Liszt to Ives, to thousands of listeners worldwide. 'Rags to Riches' encompasses the music of Scott Joplin along with Mr. Mayer's unique repertoire of classic jazz legends including Art Tatum, Fats Waller and Jelly Roll Morton - well-known musical greats of the 20th Century in a celebration of Black History month.
