Steven Caras: See Them Dance February 24, 2011

In this, her new PBS documentary, Emmy Award-winner Deborah Novak traces Caras' remarkable life and career in the world of dance - from his joining the New York City Ballet to a luminous career as the foremost dance photographer of our time on through his inspired evolution as a teacher, ballet master, lecturer and fundraiser. Archival film footage and compelling interviews with numerous dance icons further embellish Caras the man and his impressive body of work. Immediately following the screening, a live on-stage interview will feature Deborah Novak and Steven Caras, hosted by Terry Teachout, drama critic of 'The Wall Street Journal' and author of 'All in the Dances: A Brief Life of George Balanchine.'
