From the hills of Western North Carolina, Steep Canyon Rangers are the International Bluegrass Music Association's 2006 Emerging Artists of the Year. Their songs (mostly original) have risen to the top of industry charts and can been heard on bluegrass & satellite radio. Still in their 20s, they have appeared multiple times on the Grand Ole Opry and shared stages with Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, Del McCoury, Tim O'Brien & Charlie Daniels.
