Steam Train at the Wicker October 28, 2006

Steam train due to cross Wicker Arches (and Five Arches at Herries Road) for first time in more than 30 years. It will also travel through the former Victoria, Wadsley Bridge and Oughtibridge stations to Deepcar.

The train will travel from Kings Cross to Lincoln via Sheffield. The organisers told Sheffield Telegraph (29 Sep) they "do not expect the train to travel over the Wicker Arches before 4pm, although final timings will be available about a week before the trip."
