Statistical Physics of Social Dynamics: Opinions, Semiotic Dynamics, and Language July 14, 2007

The conference, which is held in the beautiful city of Erice (Italy) from 14 to 19 July 2007
will specifically focus on three major research lines, i.e. opinion dynamics, dynamics in human language
and the statistical physics of language dynamics.

The school will not only feature lectures by top people in the field,
but also an atelier (taking place the 13th of July) on "Modeling Language Emergence with Construction Grammar" (by Luc Steels).
Participants of the workshop will also have the opportunity to present their own work during poster sessions.
