Starburst: Color Photography in America 1970-1980 May 7, 2010

This exhibit features photographs from 1970 all the way through 1980. Through the work of artists such as William Eggleston, Stephen Shore and Mitch Epstein, conventions of the snapshot are turned into high art. Color photography was just beginning to spread throughout the art world and critics were not fond of it.
