Star FK Radium out of Washington, DC, has something new, and it's catching people's attention. Emotive yet logical, Star FK Radium is a simple trio with large orchestration. With Bill on acoustic guitar, Matt on drums and Alissa on violin, Star FK Radium's music exhibits characteristics of both chamber music and acoustic rock, using revolving melody lines, classical themes and expressive tempo changes. It's called "musicbox." Complex and, at times, driving acoustic guitar is balanced by emotional violin interludes, and musical give-and-take with the full drum sound.
