Dave Schwensen has written two books about comedy, "How To Be a Working Comic: An Insider's Guide to a Career in Stand-up," and "Comedy FAQs and Answers: How the Comedy Biz Really Works," considered by many agents, managers and comedy club professionals to be the guidebook for the comedy industry.

Kurtis Matthews began his comedy career in 1984 at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Kurtis has opened for and shared the stage with Bill Hicks, Adam Sandler, Sam Kinison, Rodney Dangerfield, Janeane Garofalo and many others. After twelve years of touring as a stand up, appearing on national TV and numerous radio shows, he opened the San Francisco Comedy College (SFCC) in 1999.
