RUSS T. NAILZ has worked hard to become a San Diego staple. Known for his quick, though sometimes "un-subtle" wit and gregarious personality, Stolnack's career spans the comedy circuits, radio and television. Using the pseudonym Russ T Nailz, he began as a comic radio-jock for 91X-FM, where he developed several improvisational characters that became big hits with listeners. Then, Russ beat out more than 80 comedians to win the 1987 San Diego Laff-Off. From there, he transitioned onto the standup scene, headlining in such venerable comedy hot-spots as The Comedy Store, The Funny Bone, The Last Laugh and The Improv in Los Angeles. Naturally, television came next with appearances on Evening at the Improv for the A&E Network, the Homecoming Queen's Got A Gun, with Julie Brown, and several TV Movies of the week. The winner of The National Speakers Association's Humorous Speaker Competition, Stolnack also has three Emmy Awards. He has opened for George Carlin, Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, Jim Carrey, Kenny Loggins, Dennis Miller and Ray Charles, and his corporate credits include performances for ESPN, Conagra, Mercedes Benz USA, Dow Chemical, and Anheuser-Busch. Nailz, a winner of three Emmy Awards, has opened for George Carlin, Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Roseanne, Jay Leno, Jim Carrey, Kenny Loggins, Dennis Miller and Ray Charles. Russ T's, comedy includes impressions and musical comedy. He is able to customize routines appropriate to any audience, and is guaranteed to inject laughter into your event.
