BROOKE BERMAN (playwright): Brooke's plays have been produced and developed at theaters across the US including: Primary Stages, The Second Stage, The Play Company, MCC, WET, Naked Angels, New Georges, Steppenwolf Theatre (Chicago), The Humana Festival (Louisville), Williamstown Theater Festival, ASK, Pentabus Theatre in the UK, The National Theatre Studio in London, The Royal Court Theatre in London, The O'Neill, Cape Cod Theater Project, The Womens’ Project and others. She has won numerous awards and grants for her work (including Berilla Kerr, Helen Merrill and Francesca Primus awards) and has received support from the Macdowell Colony and the Corporation of Yaddo. Brooke’s plays are available through Broadway Play Publishing and Playscripts. Her short film, All Saints Day, directed by Will Frears won Best Narrative Short at Savannah Film Festival and was featured in the Tribeca Film Festival. She is a member of PEN, the Dramatists Guild, the MCC Playwrights Coalition and an alumna of New Dramatists. Brooke is a proud graduate of The Juilliard School.
