SSI is the brothers Goff, who play improvised electronic music via laptops and midi controllers. They have been involved/affiliated with numerous projects which include notable bands such as Physics, Three Mile Pilot, Heavy Vegetable, Pinback, and The Locust.

Their sound:
Namlook, Orbital, Plastikman, Orb, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Higher Intelligence Agency, From Within, SHADO, any other enduring electronic music.

Their influences:
Jake and the fatman, 7-11 hotdogs, Micheal Jackson's burning hair, Meat, the purple hand of Kareem Abdul Jabar, Yugos, Tasty Cakes, marbles, winners ride the bus.
