SS Jeremiah O'Brien cruise to the Mothbnall Fleet August 16th August 16, 2008

The SS Jeremiah O'Brien, the only still-operating WW-II Liberty Ship on the West Coast, is sponsoring a fully narrated Cruise from San Francisco to visit the ships of the mothball fleet of Suisun Bay, from whence she was rescued in 1979, on Saturday August 16, leaving at 9am, returning around 5pm. Tickets are $150 which include donuts & coffee as you board, catered lunch enroute, music by the Phirehouse Philharmonic jazz band and complimentary wine/beer/beverage bar.
As always, the entire ship, including the 2500 horsepower, 3-story tall steam engine is open for your inspection, all explained by our knowledgeable volunteer crew.
