Spring Fling: Downtown Brooklyn E-Recycling Day May 9, 2008

New Yorkers discard about 12,000 tons of waste each day that is carted to landfills and incinerators in other states! Here’s your chance to reduce NYC waste, keep our environment clean and make a difference in someone’s life.

The first Downtown Brooklyn E-Recycling Day is happening on the MetroTech Commons, Friday, May 9th from12:00PM– 4:00PM. Donate your old cell phones and accessories to Verizon’s HopeLine program, old computers and other electronics to LES Ecology and gently used work clothes to the HOPE Program’s “Dress for Success” program.
