Spring BICYCLE Ride all ages April 18, 2010

Bike ride on smooth, off the road PAVED PATHS
Level of difficulty Beginner but those with more experience and skill level are welcome to join and help lead the group!
Time to meet: 12pm
Bike Trail Plan FROM: Massapequa Preserve (sunrise hwy)
TO: Bethpage State Park
Starting point Massapequa Preserve, on Sunrise Hwy north side.
FREE parking on Sunrise Hwy.
This will be a total of 7.6 miles of smooth surface for riding. We will take breaks for those that need it. AND we will gather at Bethpage Park's Caryle on the Green Golf Club house for refreshments, which is our 1/2 way point. Then bike ride back to Massapequa. This route is safer because there's no traffic, and in addition to the beautiful scenery we will see wildlife too! Popular path so we will be on the lookout for runners, walkers, moped riders and roller skaters.
Bring your own bicycle! If you don't have a bike rack- call me and I will see if I can make arrangements with someone that lives by you that is going.
Cost: $5 to organizer for Administration fees for organizing the event
