Misho Gallery is excited to present an exhibition featuring Mingming Liang, Chijun Hu and Yuchuan Pan. "Spring" welcomes the lunar new year with vivid, colorful, explosive florals, horses to symbolize strength and boldness and photo composites with faces in various containers posing the question, what lies ahead for me?

Mingming Liang, a graduate from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts has participated in many solo and group exhibitions and galleries across China and the US - most recently the Los Angeles Art Fair. Through her paintings, we share the unique way she views the world--- not only through the artist's eyes but through the poet's as well. She devotes herself to art creation with an eastern spirit and harmony wedded with the colorful vitality of western art. Having won numerous awards, her paintings are collected all across China, the US, and Australia.

The "Trail of Moving" is a series painted in oil by Chijun Hu, illustrating the steadfast, inner strength and gracefulness of horses. These horses were exhibited in Guangdong Museum of Art. Bold and soulful strokes of the brush bring out the beauty of the horse. Working in the academia, Chijun Hu has been a faculty member of the Guangzhou academy of Fine Art since 1987. His paintings have been recognized with awards with exhibitions in New York, Strasbourg, Los Angeles and across China.

Yuchuan Pan invites viewers to see a different layer of beauty. With backdrops of urban China, facial images are captured and re-introduced in various containers to capture our modern times. Yuchuan Pan's photographs have been shown in many solo and group exhibitions at the prestigious Ping-Yao International Photography Festival to the edgy Space 798 in Beijing, Guandong, Shanghai, Shanxi to Marseilles and the Art Museum of Tallinn, Estonia. A native of Kaping, he graduated in 1988 with a BA from the Dept. of Chinese Painting, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
