Apples & Snakes in association with Spotlight present excerpts of:

Be There In A Jiffy: Experimental collaborative writing and performance

It started with one object in a Jiffy bag,  a group of writers and the desire to perform. This group has come together this week through workshops in Bolton, Lancaster, Carlisle and Ulverston.
Led by Rachel Mars the participants in the project will present excerpts from this  experimental collaboration in a 45 minute showcase performance.

Rachel Mars - Poetry
Rachel Mars has been working in Spoken Word for six years, she recently directed Malika Booker's Unplanned, and now runs the Incubate artist development project.
She also writes and performs, mostly about family, Dustin Hoffman and loss.

Plus Music from The New Potato Scene
The New Potato Scene is a popular pop/rock teenage band (by which they mean, the majority of their school have now seen them play!).
They do a mixture of a variety of covers and their own interesting, quirky pop songs.
