Spins & Needles Craft + DJ night gets you messy + creative at this crazy night. A hip happening for all creative types to get messy, bounce ideas off one another, hear some funky music, and get their drink on.

Dive into the craft supplies, bring your own art/craft project, or work on featured projects including:
*Mixed media collage
*Pixel projects
Funky beats provided by DJ Jason Pelletier (www.myspace.com/jasonskilz) + guests.

At this installment Spins & Needles partners with StreetKnit ( www.streetknit.ca). Streetknit is a Toronto initiative that rallies knitters to create items that are distributed to homeless shelters across the city. Donations of handknitted sweaters, mittens, socks and hats will be welcome at the night.

Spins & Needles Craft + DJ Night is Canada's first established, independent cultural event that mixes hip do-it-yourself projects with funky music spun by DJs in various galleries, bars and esoteric spaces across the country. Past sites include the National Gallery of Canada, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Pop Montreal and the Gladstone Hotel.
