Speakeasy May 2, 2009

Come celebrate the Roaring 20s with Speakeasy, coming to San Diego's historic The Abbey. Speakeasy will feature food and beverages all night long. Music will be provided by local favorites, the Steph Johnson Band. There will also be plenty of dancing, and radio personality Dave Mason from 105.7 The Walrus will serve as guest auctioneer for the evening.

Speakeasy supports the San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Foundation. Every year, the Foundation quietly helps those in our local community who truly need our assistance, including:

Our seniors through the Senior Community Centers of San Diego;
Our military through Wounded Warriors, the USO, and VVSD;
Our homeless and unemployed through Second Chance and Father Joe’s Villages;
Our neighbors in Mexico through Thousand Smiles;
Our abused and neglected through Center for Community Solutions and the Women’s Resource Fair; and
Our children through Voices for Children and the No Child Left Ashore Scholarship program aboard the USS Midway.
