South Waterfront Sustainability Series: Eban Goodstein May 21, 2008

Please join the SWF Sustainable Lifestyle and Transportation Committee and SWF Community Relations for an evening with Dr. Eban Goodstein, Professor of Economics at Lewis and Clark College and author of The Trade-off Myth: Fact and Fiction about Jobs and the Environment and Fighting for Love in the Century of Extinction: How Passion and Politics Can Change the Future.



Dr. Goodstein will offer “four things you can do in the next five minutes to save the planet.” His current research focuses on global warming’s economic impacts, especially in the Pacific Northwest.



His work has been featured in Scientific American, The New York Times, The Economist, and USA Today. He was the Project Director for Focus the Nation, a national teach-in held on January 31st, 2008, that channeled energy toward global warming solutions for America.
