Every year, there are serious gaps of interest in South by Southwest's program. Turn that to your advantage, and come see parts of Austin away from downtown.
South Congress is a great neighborhood, with food, shopping, coffee, and art to enjoy. Let's break from the madness for a tour of what it has to offer.
Shopping at Blackmail (great clothes), Uncommon Objects (tchotchkes galore), and other quirky delights
Ice cream at Amy's (they have flavors with LIQUOR in them!)
Coffee at Jo's
Art at Yard Dog
and more!
It's about a mile south of the convention center, and there are free buses we can take to get there. Find me if you're interested!
