Songwriting Legend Bobby Braddock May 3, 2007

Bobby Braddock, one of the most successful country songwriters of all time, is a living legend. His smash hit "He Stopped Loving Her Today" won the Country Music Association’s Song of the Year Award in two consecutive years and was voted "Song of the Century" in a poll conducted by Radio & Records magazine and "greatest country song of all time" in a poll conducted by the BBC.

Braddock will read from his new memoir, Down in Orburndale, and sign copies of the book at A Cappella Books in Little Five Points on Thursday, May 3 at 7:00 PM. Longtime Atlanta country entertainer, Slim Chance will be on-hand to perform several of Braddock’s songs. If the stars align, Braddock might even sing a song or two. Admission is free to this event.
