Roem Baur releases his new CD "The Thief"
Roem Baur is a San Francisco based singer songwriter who writes soulful, operatic folk songs.
He recently finished recording his first album, "The Thief" a project recorded in an old church over the course of 9 days with producers, Liam McCormick and John Seeterlin of The Family Crest.
The album is a mixture of broken heart love songs and self-introspection with beautiful, lush string arrangements.
The project is slated for release in June of 2011.

Hello Live Music Fans,
What do you get when you mix a trained opera singer, good songwriting and an acoustic guitar? You get local San Francisco musician, Roem Baur! Roem is a dear friend of mine and has just finished up his new album, "The Thief". Backed, produced & recorded by The Family Crest in a 100 year old church, this new album is as real and honest as it gets. I have the pleasure of presenting his CD Release show in a House Concert on Saturday June 4th here in San Francisco & YOU are invited. Everyone who attends will receive a copy of Roem's new CD + wine & hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Yay!
Opening the evening is singer/songwriter Rory Cloud. I discovered Rory at the open mic I host on Tuesdays at Red Devil Lounge. He just recently moved to San Francisco from Los Angeles...So lets welcome him to our local music family!
