The Clean Technology Industry has evolved rapidly over the last years, with venture investments in the sector more than doubling from last year. Especially the solar energy sector, with major IPOs like Q-Cells, Ersol, SunPower, REC and SunTech Power has caught the attention of investors, technologists and entrepreneurs all around the globe.

GABA is proud to announce the launch of a new Clean Technology Industry Group. GABA, Cooley Godward LLP and M+W Zander invite you to join us for this exciting first event organized in conjunction with SEIA, SEPA, SEMI, TiE, IIC and GACC.

The goal of the event is to foster a fruitful discussion between members of the photovoltaics and the semiconductor equipment industries.

Specific topics to be discussed will include:
Similarities and differences between semiconductors and photovoltaics
Value and experience semiconductor & semi equipment industries can bring to photovoltaics
Avenues for entry and entry barriers into the PV industry
Creation of a roadmap to drive cost of solar cells / modules / systems down
