Informational meeting re: solar power for Corvallis residents.

Solar CREEK (Creating Renewable Energy for Everybody's Kids) is the name that Jack Dymond's son and friends have created to further Jack's vision and work.

[Excerpted from Corvallis GT 10/23/03] One of the last projects he worked on was a plan to install a solar electric power system on the Corvallis High School building. Working with his son Christopher, an engineer for Oregon's Department of Energy, Jack developed a plan that would invite Corvallis residents to buy renewable energy, not from their utility company, but from their community high school. The solar electric system would pour renewable energy into the local grid, partially displacing the need for PacifiCorp to burn coal.
