Summary
Regardless of the old saying, words can hurt you-especially if they've been preserved electronically. California's new electronic discovery law brings good news for employers in the sense you may now use your employees' captured comments and mistakes to defend against lawsuits. The same, however, holds true for you- your own comments can be preserved and used against you.

During this interactive, multi-media presentation, you'll discover strategies to avoid running afoul of the new electronic discovery rules and learn to defend yourself effectively. Specifically, you'll be able to:

* Describe aspects of the new law
* Take steps to comply
* Learn when to get experts involved
