Sol & Funk Root June 24, 2011

Sol Roots is a fierce guitarist, bassist, and soulful singer based in Washington D.C. who has toured around the world with many roots, funk, and blues legends. Sol and his band Funk Root create a unique blend of energetic rock, raw blues, reggae, and funk, all delivered with deep soul.
On Friday June 24, 2011, the band will include Dusty Simmons (DJ WILLIAMS, THE ROOT DOWNS) will be joining him on drums, Brian Mesko (THE ROOT DOWNS, FUNK45) on guitar, and Jake D ( SOL & FUNK ROOT) on bass.
