Yoel Cruz’s nouvelle American menu has South American accents but with an emphasis on local ingredients: vegetable empanaditas made of tomato salsa, lentil sauce, feta cheese and avocado cream, and barbecue braised short ribs with collard greens sautéed with smoked bacon, sour cream, horseradish mashed potatoes and chipotle barbecue sauce.
