Social Media Club RGV August 19, 2009

Social Media Club RGV will hold its monthly meeting at the KRGV Studio in Weslaco, Texas. The meeting is at 7 pm on August 19, 2009.

The group will have guest speaker Representative Aaron Peña of the Texas House of Representatives. He will discuss the role that social media played in the last legislative session.

The meeting is open to all who are interested in learning about social media and exchanging knowledge.

Social Media Club has four missions:

1. Expand Media Literacy
2. Share Lessons Learned Among Practitioners
3. Encourage Adoption of Industry Standards
4. Promote Ethical Practices through Discussion and Actions
