Starting a successful business is the dream of many Americans, but it takes hard work, long hours, and guts. In this course, we’ll discuss characteristics shared by successful entrepreneurs and the pros and cons of entrepreneurship. We’ll discuss timing and both financial and personal readiness. We’ll also talk about the 10 most common reasons businesses fail and how to avoid those pitfalls. Finally, you’ll complete an entrepreneurial quiz that will give you insight into your strengths and weaknesses as an entrepreneur and leave with a set of personal goals that being an entrepreneur can help you achieve.
