So Percussion’s International Night of Awesome(ness) June 18, 2012

For one incredible night at LPR in New York City, So Percussion brings together multiple generations of percussionists to celebrate our community. The event features headlining ensembles Nexus Percussion Ensemble from Canada (original members of Steve Reich and Musicians), and Amadinda Percussion Group (Budapest, Hungary).

Other groups on the night include So Percussion, the MP Duo, Mantra Percussion, the Akros Percussion collective, Tigue, and Siren.

The evening culminates in an “all-play” of Terry Riley’s In C!
